All of my life I have always dreamed of becoming a doctor, and I am currently working on my degree. I want to be able to change peoples' lives, give them a second chance in life.  I want to make a difference, I want to help individuals. I am currently majoring in Health Sciences and plan to apply for the Occupational Therapy Program at the University of Texas at El Paso. My first choice had always been to major in Biomedical and apply for Medical School and become a Pediatric Surgeon, however, through my second year in college I realized that I wanted to be different and discover how to cure and help someone emotionally, and physically first and then if life permits be able to become that doctor I have always dreamed of becoming and heal individuals medically. Throughout my experiences in the medical field I have gain valuable lessons that have given me the strength continue with my professional aspirations.
